HSA Houston High has been named an EARLY certified school by the Educational Robotics Team at NASA!
On Saturday, September 24, 2011, we hosted our first robotics training for the elementary robotics program, EARLY robotics. It was very well attended not only by Harmony schools but by HISD schools as well. Until the Harmony training, EARLY Robotics was only in the Houston Metropolitan area. We are the first to expand this program to other cities in Texas and Oklahoma. The training was a huge success and the schools are very excited about the upcoming EARLY tournament to be hosted by HSA High on December 10, 2011.
We are expecting more than 15 teams to take part in the 1st Annual Harmony Early Robotics Championship here at HSA Houston on December 10, 2011. Registration for the tournament opened this Monday, October 3, 2011. It’s not too late to get on board!
We are very excited about this and hope to continue to help grow Early Robotics throughout the Harmony community.
